The Cleveland Cavaliers have been one of the surprises of the NBA season, as the team is currently 35-22 and the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. Not only have the Cavaliers been winning a lot of games, but for people who have been betting them against the spread, they have been very good as well.

The Cavaliers are 30-24-3 ATS this season, which ranks fourth in the Eastern Conference and fifth overall in the NBA. However, they have been even better at home, where they are 19-9-1 ATS, which is the best home ATS mark in the NBA.

When it comes to the over/under, the Cavs are hitting the under is hitting at a big-time clip. A big reason for this is that the Cavaliers have the No. 1 defense in the NBA, with a defensive rating of 109.0.

The Cavaliers have an over record of 25-32, which is second to last in the NBA, in front of only the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Cavaliers are an interesting bet to win the Eastern Conference, as they are +1000. Right now, they would be the No. 4 seed, which is good enough to host a first-round series in Cleveland. However, this is a very young team that has just started playing together, while the three teams above them in the Eastern Conference (Celtics, Bucks and 76ers) all have a ton of playoff experience.

Could the Cavaliers pull the upset against one of those top teams? Possibly, but more than likely, they are going to have to beat two of those teams, which would be a very difficult ask for such a young team that only reached the play-in tournament last year.

When it comes to winning the NBA title, the Cavaliers are +2700, which is 10th in the league. It has been a very good year for the Cavaliers, but they still have a long ways to go before they are competing with the elite teams in the playoffs.

However, a future bet for next season could be the play, so keep this team on your radar.
